April’s #Cheese Recipe of the Month | By Jane M. Kyle

FRENCH BREAD POT

Ingredients:

1 small jar dried beef, finely diced

8 oz cream cheese

1 loaf French bread

4 oz can green chilies, diced

16 oz sour cream

1 cup jack cheese, shredded

Directions:

Cut cream cheese into small squares. Place all ingredients except bread in bowl and cream.

Cut ¼ off top of bread loaf for lid; pull ¾ portion from center out to make dippers and hollow loaf.

Pour cheese mixture into hollow center of loaf. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake in 350-degree oven for 1 ½ hours or until cheese mix is steaming.

Toast bread pieces to use as dippers and serve on tray with stuffed loaf.
