LIVE FROM SANDERSON FORD!!!

Marketing Director Steve Sampson of Westrock talks about the rebirth of historic Castle Hot Springs.  Opening October 2018!

Natural beauty, secluded location, dedication to rest and vitality, and healing properties of the hot springs, Castle Hot Springs dates back to 1896.

Westrock restored and manages Hotel Valley Ho Scottsdale, Mountain Shadows, and Sanctuary Camelback.

Steve details the history of Castle Hot Springs dating to before 1896 when it was a healing place for native Americans.

This hot spring comes from 2 miles in the ground.  Small content of suphur and lithium than a typical spring.  120 degrees.  Its actually drinkable when cooled off.   Planning to bottle and brew their own beer with it.

Rick Cober ‘The Tree Wizard’ from Treeage discusses fertilizing citrus trees.

Rick talks about the history of the palm trees at Castle Hot Springs.  Earliest sighting of the California Fan Palm in the southwest was likely the ones in the grove at Castle Hot Springs. (1870s).

Valentines Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day are a ‘rule of thumb’ to fertilize your citrus trees.  As a general guideline.

Using a grandular fertilizer, place around the edge to where the branches grow out.

Tips on watering with less frequency.
