Palo Brea is a durable, thorny desert tree.  Angles of attachment of the branches are wider.  Blooms pretty yellow flowers in April.  They need space to grow.  Proper (careful) pruning techniques.

Discussion of the standard shingle pitched roof.  Starting with the felt which is very important for tile roofs.  Shingle and tile roof initial install is not too far from each other.

Concrete tile roofing is long lasting.  But the real part of the roof is what was layed down before the shingles and tiles.
