In 1989, Governor Rose Mofford designated Prescott, Arizona’s Christmas City, because of our festive lighting ceremony, but the festivities don’t begin and end with just one event. Prescott celebrates with lights, music, and festive flair from November to January.

Kick off the festive season with Prescott’s 28th Annual Holiday Light Parade & Bonfire Festival on Saturday, November 29th at 6 pm. Delight in the whimsical displays of the 43rd Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6th at 1 pm, followed by the dazzling 71st Annual Courthouse Lighting with fireworks at 5 pm. Enjoy the musical charm of the 37th Annual Acker Night Musical Showcase on Friday, December 12th at 5 pm. Cap off the year with a bang at the 15th Annual Whiskey Row New Year’s Eve Boot Drop, featuring spectacular fireworks on Wednesday, December 31st at 7 pm. All events are free to attend and perfect for creating cherished holiday memories!
