COLIN’S K9 DREAM
Each year during the Sunday portion of the Desert Dog Police K9 Trails, a special ceremony is held on Equidome arena floor honoring a brave young person who is experiencing a life-threatening illness. They are honored and awarded a once in a lifetime opportunity, the gift of being a police officer for a day. Colin’s K9 Dream was inspired by a brave young boy, Colin, who fought terminal cancer, and sadly lost his battle. This special ceremony is in honor of him.
