Every weekend November – April, visitors to Tonto National Park have the opportunity to visit the upper cave dwellings with an educated guide. During the hike, park staff will stop several times to offer insight about the Sonoran Desert ecosystem and the prehistoric people who called it home.
What:
A guided 3-4, 3 mile hike to the upper cliff dwellings. This tour is limited and reservations are needed.

Bring water and good shoes. This hike is around 3 miles long and has rocky terrain with around 600 feet of iincline.
