Painting the outside of your house can be a job for a homeowner, a big job. You’ll need a good dose of patience, a keen eye for detail and a hardworking partner to do the job right.
Rolling or brushing paint onto a textured surface won’t do the whole job. Most pros work in pairs when painting stucco: One sprays on a generous coat of color, and the other walks right behind with a roller to massage the paint into the crevices and even out the paint.
Consider hiring a pro to paint your home’s exterior. It’s not an easy job, and it requires far more work than simply slapping a new coat of paint over the old.
Get it done right once every five years, and your siding will look good and stay in good repair.
