The Watering by the Number’s is a free pamphlet published by the Arizona Municipal Water Users Association (AMWUA). It’s a guide to help desert dwellers properly asses their landscape watering needs based on plant and soil types. Many independent nurseries and garden centers in Maricopa County have the publication, as do participating AMWUA city watering departments.
