For anyone who is looking to donate to Yarnell Families, there is a warehouse set up in Prescott to drop donations off at the Village of the Boulders Shopping Center located at 1260 Gail Gardner Way, Prescott 86305 #151 . The donation drop off is behind Big Lots, in the rear of the shopping center. This is a community volunteer effort in conjunction with United Way. If any items are not used by Yarnell residents it will be donated to local charities.
We are accepting clothing, furniture, toiletries, housewares, grocery/gas cards, etc. We can store items for these families until their homes are rebuilt. Hours are daily from 10-6 or by appointment. Please email at yarnelldonations@gmail.com or visit www.fallen19.org
The 100 Club is also collecting donations in Honor of the Granite Mountain Hot Shots. The 100 Club has responded with the standard line of duty death assistance of $15,000 to each of the 19 families. We are continuing to assess the needs of each family, and will support them in the immediate and far futures. This includes and is not limited to: travel arrangements and hotel accommodations for the funeral and memorials, replacement safety equipment for the fire departments, injured firefighters and their families, peer support/counseling, scholarships and any other immediate or future needs. The 100 Club is also supporting the emergency operations team and all fire personnel on scene. Donations made to the Survivors Fund will be covering these costs, and we will continue to assess the needs of the community and be there to assist them.
