Tree Of The Month:  The Canary Island Date Palm.  Started growing at the turn of the century by weathy Europeans for its stature.  Slow growing, wide span.

Male palm produces flowers for the pollen.  Female palm have the female flowers producing the fruit.  If the palm has no fruit, its a male.
