Sandra – She heard that there is a spray you can use to prevent mesquite trees from sprouting out all the seed pods?

Tree Of The Month: Palm Trees are about the only tree you can plant in the summer heats, so this month we feature the Mexican Blue Fan Palm. John explains why he loves it and it’s a great tree for our area.

Mark – He has two and a half year old orange and lemon trees and he can’t keep the blooms on the tree. What can he do?

John – He has a swim spa and it needs work to be operable again. All the parts are all out of date and need to be replaced. Should he get it upgraded or bury it and what does it do to the property value, etc?

Mike – He heard Rosie years ago say that the single bladed fan was the most effective……It’s true. Listen to why!

Cecila – Her master bedroom does not have a celing fan. It’s a vaulted ceiling and no fixture is there. What should she buy and how can she install it with no fixture to start with.

We continue taking on Cecilia’s problem and investigate how big the bedroom is and sizing up fan blades and other options.
Fan motors are much smaller now and can power much bigger fan blades without all the noise.
Dan says to oversize your fans if you can. Listen to his explanation.
Cecilia is hearing a noise and it sounds like it’s just an issue with the age of the fan. A technician can look at it and fix her problem.
What can you do about that fan in your home that ticks, hums or rattles…
Patio fans are always a challenge and we discuss it.

Karen – She wants to install a fan in a bathroom with track lighting already there. What can she do to get a fan installed to cool off that room in the afternoon?

Steve – He has 2 ceiling fans and wants to know if there is a way to know what maximum size blades he can install on his existing motors?

Never install an exhaust fan in your attic!!! Rosie explains why it’s a bad idea.
