Recommendation – They do get to Havasu Creek, but thats an additional 8 or 9 mile hike, so not exactly. It would require an extra day trip.

Callers:
Recommendation – Verify foundation issues with Arizona Foundation Solutions and John Eisenhowser with Integrity Tree Service would know the best options for him.
*The guys discuss native plants and other plants that thrive in the desert.
*Picking the proper plants and putting them in the correct places, you’ll save water, cool your home and save on water AND energy bills.
Recommendations – Just make sure that they’re rated to be “outdoor” and she’ll be good to.
*Romey talks about fans he likes that he picked up at C-A-L Ranch in Goodyear.
Recommendation – Jay just discusses the pros and cons of synthetic turf being used.
Jay’s brother played pro football and we continue our discussion on artificial turf.
Caller:
Recommendation – He has a grass lawn, so Jay recommends using a broad leaf herbicide to get rid of the existing lawn. In the long-term plan, apply pre-emergent down to prevent new seeds from fertilizing.
*Jay & Romey discuss the best times to apply pre-emergent.

More about what’s happening at the first annual Arizona Get Outdoors Expo at WestWorld of Scottsdale:
Rosie welcomes Rita Maguire, an attorney and water management specialist to talk about the Colorado River and laws regarding it’s useage.
Thanks to Rita with Maquire & Pearce: Attorney’s at Law for stopping by for an update!
Caller:
Recommendation – First, he’ll need to call an AC company to blow the line out and make sure it’s clear. Then, he’d want to check for leaks.
Caller:
Recommendation – Rosie investigates and suspects that there is an obstruction or a plug issue that needs to be blown out. She needs a Rosie-Certified Plumber!
Callers:
Recommendation – He’ll need to lift out the operable panel, lay it on it’s side and take the rollers that are on the bottom to any Ace Hardware store and they’ll usually be able to replace them. This is fairly common. Bring the old one to the store to match. Check that before trying to do anything to the track. Arizona Screen Techs can fix it too.
Recommendation – Rosie has filled in a lot of these. First, she needs to make sure there is no termite damage and then Rosie breaks down the step of filling in the space with more concrete. She can call Rosie On The House Remodeling and so can you!
Recommendation – It is definitely a water issue and is causing moisture to damage the paint. Dig the dirt out a few feet, reseal and repaint the wall to protect the block.
Digital Newsroom:
Recommendation – Romey breaks down the way it works and what the partnership is all about. Go for it!
Callers:
Recommendation – There should be condensation with our high humidity. He probably needs to call the Bumper to Bumber Show that follows our show on KTAR.
Recommendation – Absolutely, she can etch the glass or use decals for privacy. It’s a great recycling project.
*We recap the 2015 Arizona Crawfish Festival.
