• The 3D printer is like a regular printer but uses and spreads out concrete
• Each wall was an outer and inner print with a cavity for rebar
• Mark details other construction details based on the Habitat For Humanity home plan
• Met with building department officials weekly to discuss the department’s requirements
• Promising future for this type construction with many benefits

• 4 different inspectors including the supervisor were brought into the project
• Each inspector reached a point of ‘I don’t know what to do here’ requiring more research
• The finished home took time but the finished product was what they hoped for
• When using new materials, be prepared for challenges
