  • Three coat stucco
    • Involves 3 coat layers with outer layer being textured finish
    • Scratch coat is a mix cement, lime, sand and water
    • Stronger and more durable than one coat stucco
  • One coat stucco
    • Actually consists of two individual coats of scratch and brown coats
    • Premixed for a job to be done in a shorter period than three coat
    • Less cost than three coat. Thinner and more easily damaged. Still very popular
