• Charles bought a 2005 modular manufactured home in St. John’s Arizona.  Placed on a solid slab with a cinder block stem wall.  Rains have washed away the dirt from the foundation.  Cracks in the wall developed after 6 months and house shifting.  Needs to focus on firming the foundation before other work on the home

• Kurt and Missy are seeking information and possible contractors on rammed earth buildings.  They plan on doing some of the construction themselves

Blind Repair & Vinyl Floor Buckling

CALLER

• Eileen has broken vertical blinds on windows and sliding glass door.  Suggestion if she should replace them or could they be repaired

• Mahima changed their floor from tile to luxury vinyl last May.  In October, the vinyl flooring began to buckle so it needs to be replaced.  The new installer said the flood didn’t have a moisture barrier.  Her concern is there is moisture in the concrete slab.  Should that be treated first before installing the new floor
