• Cecilia won a free service on her air conditioner (7 year old unit) at the Tucson Home Show. The technician who did the service told her they needed to inject a lubricant for the compressor to be well oiled. Cost was $400.  Also she has a roof leak under the solar panels. A roofing contractor gave her a cost of $20,000 for the repair.  Homeowners insurance would only cover $2000.  Rosie has some thoughts on this

• Jeff owns a 29 year old stucco house with a tile roof. In getting painting estimates, one contractor gave a recommendation for fascia wrap. Is it worth it because he has some concerns about the fascia living up to the expectations. Rosie explains its good but make sure the wood being wrapped is in good shape
• Andrew has a dead dishwasher. Power to it is working. Reseting didn’t work. Thinking of replacing the motherboard. Thoughts on repairing it or buying a new one.
