COMMENTARY:

  • Care for plants and Christmas trees are the same.  Avoid drafty places, don’t place near heat registers and fireplaces
  • Poinsettias are sub-tropical.  Don’t like extreme heat or cold.  Avoid drying out by keeping moist in a bright place
  • Nursery business saying that if you take care of your customers, they’ll come back.  If you take care of your inventory, they won’t
  • Composting poinsettias is fine once its dried out
  • Christmas Cactus, lavender and rosemary plants make excellent gifts
