Recommendation – She needs to measure the space she has and then research plants that will grow into the space nicely. Dwarf trees might be perfect for her space. She could also find a landscape designer and put a plan together. Just make sure it’s the right time of year for planting before removing the existing plants.
Recommendation – It could be a lot of issues from bugs, a fertility issue, watering problems….take a picture or put a few leaves in a zip-lock baggie and take it to her local nursery. In her area, she can try A&P Nurseries or Treeland Nurseries.

Recommendation – There are several reasons this can occur; improper timing of fertilization, too much or not enough water, weather issues (heavy winds, etc.) In Tim’s situation, it might just take a few years to get healthy. Make sure it’s fertilized and watered deeply, not just surface watering frequently.

Recommendation – He needs to take care of it or it will keep damaging the wall. Find out who’s in charge of the trees and let them know about the damage. There are laws in place for this situation, so be careful not to trim illegally and let the other owners know what’s happening so they can take care of it.
Trimming Roots Rule of Thumb: They need to be smaller than the diameter of your wrist and need to be a minimum of five feet away from the trunk of the tree.
