Questions to ask and things to look for in Hiring A Contractor When something does not go right, do you know who you can call Caller Don, can he put ceramic tile over vinyl Recommendation: As long as the vinyl is not bubbling, some Rosie contractors say yes. Rosie likes to take the floor to it’s bare minimum, scrape the old floor off. Do not use any product to remove the vinyl. Use Beanie Do if you need to soften up stubborn areas
