Tip of the Week: Understand that this time of year you’ll find out which plants thrive here in the desert and which plants might not be taken care of correctly. Remember that when it’s this hot, a few burned leaves is normal.

Recommendation – It’s actually easier to take out healthy grass, so water it and fertilize it one more time to get it healthy and then take it out. Try adding a Bonide Product to kill the grass when your ready for removal.

Recommendation – St. Augustine grass thrives in a humid environment and struggles here in AZ. Try adding some soil sulfur and make sure he is watering correctly. Reseeding Dichondra is easier because you can reseed. St. Augustine comes in sod form and can be very expensive.
Recommendation – Painting is only a temporary fix and odds are good there’s another issue if it’s brown this time of year. Bermuda should be looking good this time of year.
Recommendation – Switch varieties of orange. Blood Orange isn’t ideal in this area.
