1. If you put a skylight in a room with a television set, get it tinted so you don’t get so much glare on the screen.
2. If you install one in a bedroom, add a motorized shade that you can close when you want to darken the room.
3. If you buy one with a screen so you can open and close it, spring for one with a sensor that automatically closes the window when it starts to rain.
