Farmer Greg discusses growing your own 'food forest'.   How to mimic what nature does in a forest on a smaller scale at your home.

How permaculture uses nature (sun, water, wind) to provide everything your garden needs to aid plants and seeds.

Start by observing the space for your 'forest'.  How the sun hits the space during the year, where the rain falls, shade.  What makes the eastern exposure the best and western exposure the worst.

Greg's tip for sun observation.  The annual dates to observe where the sun is positioned in the sky at Noon for exposure in the space.
