In short, we rarely see much benefit or money saving in a residential application.

What is Radiant Barrier?
Radiant barrier is a highly reflective product, usually aluminum, that is installed to the roof deck or trusses that make up the framing of your roof. The idea is that this reflective material will reflect the sun’s radiant energy. There is a time and an application for radiant barriers, but rarely do we seen much benefit or money saving in residential application.
