HOMEOWNER QUESTION: I have light fixtures that are rated for maximum 60-watt incandescent bulbs. I want to put 100-watt LED light bulbs in since they only use 15-watt energy. Am I correct in thinking I can do that?
STATEWIDE LIGHTING’S ANSWER: “Yes the caller was correct! You can swap out the brightest LED you can find. You won’t be able to find an LED that would exceed the 60 watt max since they are so much more efficient.”
